Journals for the first weeks

The Healing Path
Gentle, guided steps for tending to the wounds no one else can see.

Burn It Journal
For the fears you can’t reason away: write them down and let them go.

Stress Management
Brings you back to the present when worry starts to loop.

Letting Go
A quiet place to set down the day’s heavier emotions before sleep.

Self-Nurturing
Invites you to treat yourself with the care you’d offer a friend.
The first weeks are about making space for the thoughts and emotions that come with a diagnosis, at your own pace. Nobody needs you to be calm, positive or organised yet. A few lines a day that say what is actually happening is enough.
Some of what you feel will be fear about things you can’t control: a scan date, a result, a what-if. Writing those worries down and then setting them aside, rather than carrying them everywhere, is one of the oldest uses of a journal. Some of it will be the body’s stress response, which a short grounding exercise can interrupt. And some of it will be a simple need for kindness toward yourself on the days when everything asks a lot of you.
